Support and Maintenance
We provide a variety of support and maintenance options. These maintenance and support services encompass all of your networking, software and hardware requirements. You are able to contact our call centre and request ad hoc support. Alternatively, you can enter into a maintenance agreement with Quest Communications to limit these costs.
Maintenance agreements entitle you to pre-paid support and preventative maintenance on selected equipment in your environment. This provides you with a higher service-level agreement and for our larger clients we can even extend the maintenance agreement to include a full-time on-site support engineer.
Ad hoc support
Ad hoc system support (also known as call outs) covers your network as well as the workstations and servers that you identify as requiring attendance. Also note that as a maintenance client, if we are unable to resolve the issue telephonically or via remote management then an engineer would be dispatched to you for onsite support within a very short period, as defined by a service-level agreement.
On-site maintenance contracts
We provide on-site maintenance contracts on a per-machine basis. Maintenance contracts are flexible in the type of service we provide and a check-list of the basic items that are covered is included as part of a service-level agreement. We also ensure that maintenance clients take precedence when engineers are dispatched for on-site calls.
In addition, we strongly recommend the implementation of remote management software which should be installed on servers and workstations.
Dedicated on-site engineers
In larger networking environments we recommend placing an engineer at your premises to conduct all audits, reconfigure the network, servers and workstations as well as support the users in an ongoing capacity. Typically, the engineer is capable of upgrading hardware or installing software purchased via our central call centre.
To assist you in deciding whether you require dedicated on-site support an engineer can be placed on site for an initial contract period of 3 months which is then reviewed.
